Crypto perpetuals,
settled in rupees.

Trade perpetual contracts on bitcoin, ether, solana and XRP with every balance, fee, funding payment and profit kept in Indian rupees. Rupees in and rupees out, through your own verified bank account.

INR-native ledger
Every position and payment in paise, on a double-entry ledger that must balance to zero.
One order at a time
A single sequencer orders every request; replaying its log always rebuilds the same state.
Leverage with limits
Per contract, lower for large positions. Higher leverage means faster, larger losses.

Markets overview

Perpetual contracts

Prices are the exchange's mark price: an outside index plus a capped premium, so a single trade can't move it. Every contract is settled in Indian rupees.

Live markets appear here when the exchange opens.

Risk and margin engine

Leverage, margin and liquidation

The rules are the same for every customer and are shown before you trade. Each contract's limits below are read live from the exchange.

Leverage that steps down with size

Each contract has a maximum leverage for small positions and lower maximums as a position grows, so a large position must post more margin. The tiers are published per contract below.

Warning at a 50% loss, close at 60%

Liquidation is measured against the margin you put up. At a 50% loss you are warned and can only reduce; at 60% the position is closed. The same rule at every size.

Maintenance margin

The minimum margin a position must keep, as a share of its value, rising with size. It is published per contract and shown on every position.

Isolated or cross margin

Isolated puts only one position’s margin at risk. Cross shares one pool across your cross positions, so their liquidation prices move together.

Dynamic price bands

Orders must be near the mark price. When the market moves fast the band widens (up to three times the contract’s own band), and narrows again as it calms.

Mark price, insurance fund, auto-deleveraging

Liquidation uses the mark price, never a single trade. Losses beyond a closed position’s margin come from the insurance fund first; your place in the auto-deleveraging queue is shown on every position.

Know before you order

Before an order is sent you see the margin it needs against the margin you have, the fee and GST, and the prices at which the position would be warned and closed.

Stop-loss, take-profit and closing

Set a stop-loss or take-profit on a position: it acts on the mark price and only ever reduces what you hold. Close one position, or all of them, at once from your positions; what the book cannot fill stays open.

Safety checks that keep closing open

If a contract’s prices drift apart (3% for bitcoin and ether, 5% for other perpetuals, 15% for options) or it is flooded with orders, it turns closing-only: you can still reduce or close, not open or add. It reopens by itself about five minutes after the cause has passed. A sharp fall in the insurance fund makes every contract closing-only until the exchange resumes trading.

Per-contract parameters

Published by the exchange; any change is approved by two people and announced before it applies.

Fee schedule

What trading costs

Fees are charged on the value of each fill. GST at 18% is added on top and shown separately, with the total, before you confirm any order.

The fee schedule appears here when the exchange opens.

Funding
Paid or received every 8 hours at 05:30, 13:30 and 21:30 IST while a position is open. Exchanged between traders; Mayastram takes no share.
Liquidation fee
Charged on the part of a position closed by liquidation, plus GST, and never more than the margin left. It goes to the insurance fund.
Deposits and withdrawals
Free from Mayastram. Your bank may charge its own fees.
Taxes
GST on fees as shown. Nothing is deducted at source from your trades: perpetual contracts are cash-settled and no crypto changes hands. Tax on your profits is yours to file; ask your Chartered Accountant.

Security and compliance

Built to the rules first

Mayastram is being built to Indian law: the PMLA and FIU-IND's guidelines for virtual digital asset service providers, CERT-In directions, the DPDP Act and consumer protection rules.

Registration status

Mayastram will open to customers only after registration with FIU-IND as a reporting entity under the PMLA.

The registration id will be shown here, and in the app, once FIU-IND grants it.

Know your customer

  • Verified before the first deposit; no account in a false or anonymous name.
  • Three checks: your PAN with the Income Tax Department (it must be linked with Aadhaar), your Aadhaar through DigiLocker with your consent, and a live selfie matched with the Aadhaar photo.
  • Only the last four digits of your Aadhaar number are kept. The Aadhaar photo is used for the face match and then deleted.
  • The location and time of sign-up are recorded.
  • Mobile number and email confirmed by one-time code; bank account confirmed by a small test credit.
  • Re-checked at least once a year, and every six months for higher-risk accounts.

Anti-money-laundering

  • Sanctions screening at sign-up, on any change of details, and whenever the lists change (UN Security Council and Indian designations).
  • Every transaction monitored for red flags; suspicious activity reported to FIU-IND by a Principal Officer, as the law requires.
  • Politically exposed persons and higher-risk accounts need a second approval.
  • Accounts for residents of India. No contracts on privacy coins, no mixers.

Ledger safety

  • A double-entry ledger in paise: every transaction balances to zero, enforced by the database itself, not only by the application.
  • Separate main, futures and options wallets for each customer; money moves between them only when you transfer it.
  • The insurance fund, fee income and GST payable are each kept in their own accounts, never mixed with customer money.
  • One sequencer orders every request; replaying its log rebuilds exactly the same state, which is how the books are checked.

Account security

  • Password plus an authenticator code on every sign-in; sessions tied to your device; sign out everywhere at once.
  • Every withdrawal needs a fresh code and goes only to your verified bank account; a newly added bank account waits 24 hours before its first withdrawal.
  • API keys are signed per request and scoped: read, trade and withdraw are separate permissions.
  • At most 200 order requests a second from one customer, so no single account can flood a market.
  • Designed to keep records in Indian data centres for at least five years in write-once storage, and to report security incidents to CERT-In within six hours.

Grievance Officer: to be named here before launch. Every complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days.

Corporate social responsibility

Giving back

CSR is the company's own work, separate from the exchange: it is paid from the company's own funds, never from customers' money, and it is not linked to trading.

Financial literacy

Plain-language lessons on saving, investing and the risks of leveraged trading, for first-time investors and students.

Education

Scholarships, support for schools, and digital and coding skills for students.

Health and sanitation

Health camps, clean drinking water and sanitation.

Environment

Tree planting, clean energy and conservation.

The four areas are from Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. Under Section 135 of that Act, CSR spending becomes compulsory once a company crosses set size or profit thresholds; Mayastram's is voluntary until then. Our CSR policy, the projects we support and what each receives will be published here once the board approves them.

Risk disclosure

Crypto products and NFTs are unregulated and can be highly risky. There may be no regulatory recourse for any loss from such transactions.

  • Perpetual contracts are leveraged. Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains: up to 20x on Bitcoin contracts and 10x on others; at 20x, a 3.00% move against you closes the position and loses 60% of its margin.
  • In fast markets prices can gap; a position may close at a worse price than its liquidation price, and auto-deleveraging can close a winning position early.
  • A safety check can make a contract closing-only for a while: you can reduce or close a position, but not open or add to one, until trading resumes. A stop-loss is not guaranteed to fill at its price.
  • Funding is paid or received every 8 hours while a position is open. Fees and 18% GST apply to every trade. Nothing is deducted at source from your trades: perpetual contracts are cash-settled and no crypto changes hands. Tax on your profits is yours to file; ask your Chartered Accountant.
  • Trade only with money you can afford to lose. Nothing on this site is investment advice.

Customers accept the full risk disclosure in the app before opening any position.
